Per accedere all'appartamento bisogna passare dal viale di accesso privato dell'Hotel Royal e fare circa 150 scalini. L'appartamento dispone di: Cucina attrezzata e completa di tutti i servizi necessari, ovvero fornelli a gas, forno a microonde,macchinetta per il caffè, frigorifero con surgelatore ecc.; Open space con letto matrimoniale e possibilità di aggiungere 2 letti singoli, camino, TV a schermo piatto e ampio balcone dotato di vista incantevole sul centro di Positano; Bagno completo con box doccia e lavatrice; Terrazzo panoramico vista città ed attrezzato con doccia esterna e lettini prendisole. La città è colma di scale e caratteristici vicoletti che dall'alto del paese giungono in basso, fino alla spiaggia e dove è un piacere trascorrere il tempo libero passeggiando e visitando le boutique, le gallerie d’arte e le fabbriche di limoncello. Le spiagge principali sono la Spiaggia Grande e quella di Fornillo, entrambe raggiungibili a piedi, mentre da scoprire sono: La Porta, Arienzo e San Pietro Laurito, tutte raggiungibili principalmente via mare. Importante punto di forza, inoltre, è la chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta con una magnifica cupola realizzata con maioliche ove all’interno è presente la famosa icona bizantina della Madonna nera. L’appartamento è ubicato sulla strada principale della città e nelle vicinanze si trovano negozio di alimentari e fermata del bus pubblico interno “Flavio Gioia” che permette di raggiungere il centro di Positano in 5 minuti. inoltre dall'appartamento si diparte una scala privata tramite la quale si puo' raggiungere l'area pedonale e le spiaggie in appena 5 minuti a piedi.

Wonderful hosts G. and his son A. met us and helped us take our luggage down the steps to their property. They were very responsive to any requests we had during our stay and even brought over some needed items. This was one of the largest places we stayed during our entire Italian vacation and was very affordable. It's a convenient location if you take the SITA bus into Positano as you can go down the stairs to their location, but climbing with luggage from the ferry would be difficult. Better to take the local bus to the stop right outside their place and then take the stairs down.

This apartment is beautiful, with breathtaking views! It is a real treat to wake up in the mornings to the window views, as well as eat meals on the balcony. The host is very caring, flexible, and helpful with any needs or requests. Two things to note: 1) There are quite a few stairs to climb for those wanting to walk from the beach/downtown area to the apartment. So prepare to work out (for those with luggage this might be more difficult, so keep that in mind). 2) The light closest to the house doesn't work, so be sure to have your phone flashlight to guide you through the last set of stairs. This requires having a charged phone battery.
