  Beautiful home, great horizons

  The Pump Station is a beautifully designed home. High end cooking/dishwasher facilities and designer pots/pans/crockery and cutlery. The kitchen is fully equipped for dining and even baking should you wish. Unusually for a holiday home the cooking knives were sharp and there was salt/pepper and oil.\r\n\r\nThe overall feel of the place is: wow! However it is looking a bit tired in places and some areas need refreshing and the mattresses could be better; though that doesn't detract from how lovely the place is and how great the views are, big skies and fantastic horizons

  A beautiful house but in need of some TLC

  Four of us - two couples - stayed for four nights. As others have said, the house has been beautifully converted into a dwelling with lovely spaces and an extremely well-equipped kitchen and well functioning bathrooms. The location and the views from the floor to ceiling windows are both stunning. There are a few downsides which other reviewers have also noted (repeatedly): the bed/mattress, certainly in the main bedroom, is extremely soft and uncomfortable - one of us decamped to the snug to get a proper night's sleep; there is a need for some maintenance - the front door is beautifully designed but it has dropped slightly on its hinges and so is now very difficult to close and lock from th …

  Fantastic property (except for the beds)

  We really enjoyed our stay at PS1. It’s a beautiful property with a wonderful and peaceful feeling of space and light and it’s in an incredibly interesting location. Frankly, we’d love to come back but would struggle to do that unless basic mattresses are purchased for the property. We tried all of the beds but they are all exceptionally uncomfortable.

  Long weekend break in February

  We are no strangers to Dungeness as we visit regularly when we have our annual trip to Rye, therefore we already knew that we loved the location. However staying there for a few days took it to another level and our experience was made all the more lovely by staying at PS1. Very often when one books accommodation the pictures on the web do a very good job of enhancing reality. This is not the case with PS1, from the moment we stepped through the door we were struck by the quality of the design, materials, and attention to detail right down to the pots and pans.   A week at PS1

  Fantastic location (to also visit other places such as Hastings, Rye and Folkeston), unique landscape, beautifully designed modernist interior. With the Snack Shack across the road providing freshly caught delicacies, we couldn’t have asked for more!

  PS1 Dungeness

  Dungeness is a special place to stay and PS1 did not disappoint. The space was great and the windows to the rear framed the landscape beautifully. Excellent customer service from Bloom stays when something outside of their control occurred.
