  Pros: Location; nicely landscaped, quiet and clean complex; spacious unit; comfy chairs on the balcony; nice view of the creek; great water pressure; convenient to grocery store; washer and dryer in unit; excellent communication from the unit’s property management company; and first floor unit close to the parking lot and enjoyable pool.Cons: the entire unit could use a thorough cleaning and painting; both bedspreads were stained; some of the towels were more gray than white; the jets in the en-suite tub were dirty; no grab bars on that tub/shower combo; and the carpet was stained.The cons were reported to the unit’s property management company and I felt the issues were taken seriously.We h …

  Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything seemed great with the condo until we went to use the sofa bed for the evening. Trying to get the sofa bed out was extremely difficult and once we got it out we noticed that the frame had been zip tied together, making it unusable. We then tried to get the sofa bed back in and literally couldn't. We had to wait until maintenance got there around midnight for him to manhandle it back in place in order for us to even be ab …

  Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is a ground level condo in a nice centrally located HOA. Loved the layout it gave the units living area a nice open feel. It is obviously dated, but who goes to Gatlinburg to stay inside. The kitchen has everything you need (who wants to cook while on vacation ?) If you’re looking for a place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and adult beverages at night this is the perfect place for you. It was for us!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The hiking and waterfalls were fantastic. Elk Springs are wonderful to work with. The building, unit and locations is what brings us back. The unit could use some TLC. New mattresses, fix the screen on the patio door and a new master bath sink faucet (drips a lot). Will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay. Our only recommendations would be to fix the icemaker, have coffee available, and stock extra toilet paper. We did have one incident the morning of departure, where the smoke alarm went off twice at 7:40 AM, while we were still sleeping, but resolved quickly.
