This waterfront apartment is beautiful and our host, Joan, thought of everything to make our stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. The space is so clean and well stocked, we had everything we needed. It has a great location which is a short walk to the pier, shops and restaurants and the best part is the water view. Absolutely breathtaking. Our advice is to try to wake up early to watch the sunrise. You won’t regret it.

Pet friendly and the unit being first floor and single level worked out great for our older dog.Clean and well equipped. Gorgeous views of the harbor to watch the cruise ships come and go.Wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Joan’s place for three nights and we couldn’t have been happier. Joanne’s out of her way to make you feel welcome and cared for during her stay. She truly has thought of every detail that will make her home comfortable and relaxing for your vacation. Then there is the location. The back deck has stunning views of the harbor and of Canada! It was an easy walk into town to Polk around in the shops and have a delicious meal. The photos I’ve included are from the deck!

Joan has created a lovely home away from home with this seaside cottage/apartment. There were so many thoughtful extras that really made us feel welcome …coffee, homemade jams, fresh flowers, and more. The space is airy and full of natural light, and attractively decorated, and it has a fabulous porch looking out over the bay-perfect for morning coffee or hot chocolate around the firepit in the evening.We will be back!

This was our 4th year of staying at Joan's and it was as delightful as always! The place is immaculate and everything we needed was available. Joan is always just a text or email away with any answers to questions you may have. The lovely little town is just a short walk away with great eateries and cute shops. And the view from the kitchen window! Just beautiful!

We booked this property because of the USS Augusta’s commissioning. The proximity to the ship and more importantly our son who is on the ship. Joan is very knowledgeable of the area, leaving brochures and restaurant listings in the apartment. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck, the view is amazing, we couldn’t have asked for anything else. Thank you Joan for all you do!!
