We have just returned from a week at Rose Cottage, it is cosy and spotless, well equipped, and well situated for Louth, Mablethorpe and Theddlethorpe, which are lovely beaches for walking the dogs. The garden is enclosed for the dogs, cottage is close to a road but it didn't bother us. Because of the rural situation the tv signal is practically non-exixtent so we spent a lot of the evenings watching Netflix. We loved it so much we are planning on booking again for next year.

Location is a combination of being situated on a main road in an isolated area, so when no vehicles are tearing past you, it's absolutely tranquil. The cottage is well soundproofed but a recommendation for any hot nights is that if you open the bedroom window then do leave the bedroom door open otherwise the door will rattle all night. All fittings are well used but clean and everything works. The WiFi (which you will find the password for right at the very top of the guest information details and not buried somewhere in the middle of page 3, which is usual in my experience) is passable. If you bring with you a streaming device such as Fire Stick then it should provide acceptable viewing exp …

“Lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of plum bread, milk, and Prosecco on arrival. It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the fields. The location also offers easy access to nearby attractions. The only downside is that the property is situated on a very busy road, which can be a bit noisy at times.”

We had a fabulous 5 nights at rose cottage. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and the cottage itself was so cozy. Great walks direct from the cottage and only 10 mins away from town. The roll top bath was a treat and we enjoyed relaxing in that. We loved the coffee machine and was grateful for the welcome treats. The boys enjoyed the smart tvs which really does help when you have kids! We would definitely stay again. Thank you ☺️

We have just returned from a two week stay at Rose cottage the property has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. It was warm clean and comfortable, the garden was enclosed so our dogs couldn’t escape as the road alongside the property is quite busy at times. Ian was very helpful supplied us some logs for the fire and checked in by text to make sure we were ok and if there was anything we needed for our second week. A nice walk to a pub the Royal Oak “The Splash” and only a short drive to a lovely beach. We were sorry to leave.
